CAMERON — Services for Jack E. Burnett, 82, of Brookshire, formerly of Milam County will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home in Katy.

Burial will be in Katy City Cemetery.

Mr. Burnett died Friday, Sept. 12, in a Brookshire nursing center.

He was born July 23, 1926, in Milam County to Willie and Audrey Burnett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Burnett.

Survivors include four daughters, Sherry Wisniki and Paula Cauly, both of Brookshire, Pamela Anderson of Houston, and Judy Kelly of Katy; a son, Jack Burnett Jr. of Katy; four brothers, Carlton Burnett of Beaumont, Moye Burnett of Fannett, Leland Burnett of Ben Arnold, and Charles Burnett of Bryan; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
