Services for Alvin Ray Palm-Tiggs, 61, of Hearne, formerly of Temple, will be 11 a.m. Friday at W.H. Littles & Sons Mortuary in Temple with the Rev. Charles Godbold officiating.

The body will be cremated.

Mr. Palm-Tiggs died Thursday, Sept. 11, in a Bryan hospital.

He was born March 1, 1947, to Rogers and Pauline Tiggs-Moore in Anson. He attended Dunbar High School. He was a member of Allen Chapel AME Church of Bryan.

Survivors include a son, Darrell Morrison of Belton; a daughter, Alishia Rogers of Oakland, Calif.; two brothers, Norman Palm of Lawton, Okla., and Otis Moore of Oakland; three sisters, Gloria Payton and Mary Clark, both of Oakland, and Johnnie Morrison of Killeen.
