HARKER HEIGHTS — Services for Donald Wayne Watkins, 63, of Belton will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with full military honors.

Mr. Watkins died Monday, Sept. 15, in a Temple hospital.

He was born Nov. 30, 1944, to Wilber Watkins and Lillian P. Marlin Watkins in Oklahoma City, Okla. He served as a soldier in the U.S. Army for four years and then as a sailor in the U.S. Navy for more than 16 years before retiring. He had been a Belton resident for three years.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Sutton Watkins of Belton; a son, Mike Watkins of California; a daughter, Debbra Ann Bracket of California; and a brother, Jay Watkins of California.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home of Harker Heights.
