Services for Jackie Charles Hamm, 74, of Lott will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Willard Dunn officiating.
Burial will follow in Pendleton Cemetery.
Mr. Hamm died Saturday, Sept. 20, at his home.
He was born June 12, 1934, to Glen Thomas and Margie Wilkerson Hamm in Temple. He graduated in 1951 from Troy High School. He married Juanice Williams on April 6, 1956, in Temple. He worked for Lone Star Gas Company in Temple as a ditch digger and worked his way up to regional superintendent. He retired after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and of Pendleton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his twin infant sons, Thomas Ted and Jackie Charles Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years of Lott; three daughters, Candice Gayle, Kathi Thompson and Tina Smith, all of Belton; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Cardiovascular Research, c/o Scott & White Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
