NEW BRAUNFELS — Services for Peggy June Hobday Jones, 70, of New Braunfels, formerly of Troy, were Monday, Sept. 22, in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

Mrs. Jones died Wednesday, Sept. 17, in New Braunfels.

She was born June 2, 1938, in Temple to Homer and Lillian Hobday.

Survivors include her husband, Phil Jones of New Braunfels; a son, Stan Allen of New Braunfels; a daughter, Beth Hedger of New Braunfels; three brothers, Bill Hobday, Thomas Hobday, and Jack Hobday, all of Temple; four sisters, Helen Prince of Troy, Johnnie Krumnow, Mary Miller, and Pat Stinert, all of Temple; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Puente and Sons in New Braunfels.
