KILLEEN — Services for Allen Robert Keefe, 68, of Killeen will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Burial will follow with full military honors in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Mr. Keefe died Monday, Sept. 22, in a Temple hospital.

He was born July 12, 1940, in Springfield, Mass., to Robert Keefe and Irene (Towne) Keefe. He was a soldier in the U.S. Army and after retirement worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Gatesville. He married Margarete Opfer on June 3, 1965, in Germany.

He is survived by his wife of Killeen; two sons, Robert Keefe of Liberty, Mo., and John Keefe of Killeen; two daughters, Patricia Hollon of Bishop, Calif., and Christina Cassel of Killeen; six grandchildren; a brother, Peter Keefe; and two sisters, Patricia Harmon and Roberta Cutcher all of Maryland.
