LAMPASAS — Crystal Upton Kraner, 93, of Lampasas died Thursday, Sept. 25, in a local nursing home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas with Joe Baisden officiating.

Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

Mrs. Kraner was born Nov. 20, 1914, to Ira and Odelia Hayes Upton near Gatesville in Coryell County. She married Frank “Ira” Kraner of Belton in 1961. She was a member of Delta Cappa Gamma in Lampasas, the Garden Club and the retired teachers association. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Peggy Minor of Arlington; a brother, Conrad Upton of Copperas Cove; four sisters, Ira Dell Storm and Janese Lancaster, both of Lampasas, Loraine Murrah of Lorena and Bonnie Davis of Columbia, Tenn.; two stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Home in Lampasas.
