Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery.
Mrs. Hester died Tuesday, Sept. 30 in Giddings.
She was born May 15, 1916, in St. Hedwig to Peter Lyro and Rosalie Crouperlik Lyro.
She was a housewife. She married Terrell Hester March 10, 1962, in Freeport and he preceded her in death March 31, 1995. She was preceded in death by a son, Terrell Earl Hester, in August 2000. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Lexington.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Skloss of San Antonio; a grandson; and a great-grandson.
Arrangements are being handled by Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
