Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.
Mrs. Slack died Monday, Sept. 29, in a Temple hospital.
She was born Dec. 22, 1932, in Cameron to William and Lucille (Davis) Burkeen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Slack on Dec. 16, 2007.
Survivors include two sons, Boyd Lee High of Lorena and Royce Slack of Cameron; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
