Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.
Mrs. Von Gonten died Monday in a Temple hospital.
She was born April 5, 1920, in Caldwell to John Ondrasek and Frances Polasek Ondrasek. She moved to Bell County in 1928 at age 8. She married Johnny Von Gonten Aug. 24, 1935, and he preceded her in death. She was a farmer’s wife for 35 years, worked 10 years at Wood Arts in Temple, two years for Golf Equipment in Temple, five years at E.R. Carpenter in Temple, two years at Green Thumb in Rogers and Holland. She taught Sunday school for 22 years at Buckholts Brethren Church. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rogers. She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Leland Von Gonten.
Survivors include two daughters, Doris Jane Akard of Waco and Judy Kay Deaver of Temple; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
