ROCKDALE - Services for Helen Mitchell, 88, of Rockdale will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with the Rev. John Warren officiating.

Mrs. Mitchell died Sunday, Sept. 21, in a Rockdale hospital.

She was born May 18, 1920, in Eliasville to Charles Thomas and Helen (Wright) Hill. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Rockdale. She was a resident of Rockdale from 1951-1957 and came back in 1994.

She married Billy S. Mitchell Jan. 9, 1943, in Grand Prairie.

Survivors include her husband.
