Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Weise died Sunday in Dallas.
He was born July 6, 1954, to Emzy and the late Lillian (Remmert) Weise. He was a graduate of Thorndale High School and a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Thorndale. He was an equipment operator at Alcoa in Rockdale and retired after 34 years. He married Faye Scheer March 12, 1983, in Cameron. He was preceded in death by a son, Aron Wayne Gerlock. He has lived in Rockdale for the past 27 years.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Donald Ray Gerlock of Missouri, Eric Dean Gerlock and Larry Gene Gerlock, both of Rockdale; three daughters, Sherri Faye Minor of Rockdale, Janet Lynn Becker of Georgetown, and Karen “Cissi” Annette Walker of Taylor; his father of Thorndale; a sister, Patricia Stifflemire of Thorndale; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
