Inurnment will be 11 a.m. in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mr. Williams died Sunday in a Temple hospital.
He was born Aug. 27, 1939, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, to Ellis Shelton Williams and Vera Huffman Williams.
He served 22 years in the U.S. Army and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 3. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal (2nd Award); National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; RVN Campaign Medal; Army Commendation Medal w/2 Oak Leaf Clusters; Bronze Star Medal; VN Cross of Gallantry w/Palm (unit citation); Joint Service Commendation Medal; and the Expert Qualification Badge w/Rifle Bar (M16).
Survivors include his wife, TuSu (Lee) Williams of Harker Heights; six sons, Donovan Paul Williams and David John Williams, both of Temple, Lyle Dean Williams of Corpus Christi, Kelly Ray Williams of Troy, Theodore (Teddy) Williams of San Diego, Calif., and Jerry Shelton Williams of McHenry, Ill.; a daughter, Anita Kay Hicks of Temple; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are handled by Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights.
