Private family graveside services will be held.
Memorial services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron with the Rev. James T. Wheeless officiating.
Mrs. Kohutek was born Aug. 30, 1925, to John and Anna Stoerner Rummel in Buckholts. She was raised in the Vogelsang Community of Milam County. She married Edwin Lee Kohutek on Jan. 14, 1950. She was owner and operator of Fay’s Beauty Shop in Cameron for more than 40 years, before retiring. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Ben Arnold. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years in 2003.
Survivors include two sons, Ed Kohutek of Houston and Jimmy Kohutek of College Station; two daughters, Kathryn Nachlinger of Bryan and Debbie Williams of New Braunfels; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
