Burial will be in Moody Cemetery.
Mrs. Blankenship died Monday, Sept. 29, in Waco.
She was born Dec. 9, 1942, in Brownwood to Roland and Hattie Lorene Burgess Tucker. At an early age, she moved to Temple where she was a 1960 graduate of Temple High School. She married Thomas Jefferson “T.J.” Blankenship on June 17, 1962, in Temple. After living in Houston for many years, she moved to Waco in 1974. She was employed by Wal-Mart in Waco for about 10 years as a sales clerk.
She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Blankenship.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Deborah Ann Hooten and Diana Lynn Gamboa; two brothers, Steve Tucker and Ronnie Tucker; a sister, Bonnie Goodwin; and five grandchildren.
