Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Burns died Tuesday, Oct. 7, in a local hospital.
She was born Oct. 1, 1948, to Hubert Joseph and Lillie Marie Hollas Jistel in Cameron. She graduated from Yoe High School in 1966. She had been a resident of Temple since 1969. She married Chapple Burns on Aug. 8, 1993. She was employed as a payroll specialist at WilsonArt International in Temple for the past 20 years. She was a Catholic.
Survivors include her husband of Temple; two sons, Brad Aaron of Temple and Jason Aaron of Leon Junction; two stepdaughters, Tina Morris of Temple and Sharon Nichols of Alexander, Ark.; two brothers, Wayne Jistel of The Colony and Clyde Jistel of Troy; four sisters, Ethel Marak of Cameron, Janis Beach of Orange, Lucille Chupik of Temple and Carolyn Klecka of Cameron; and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the charity of your choice.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
