Ms. Longmire died Thursday, Oct. 9, in a Palestine hospital.
She was born July 30, 1914, to Richard Aaron and Annie Lou Carisle Cunningham in Comanche. She was an LVN at Memorial Hospital in Houston, retiring in 1986, after more than 50 years of service. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Lowell K. Longmire of Palestine; two granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale is in charge of arrangements.
