Mr. Powers died Wednesday, Oct. 8, in a Killeen hospital.
He was born March 18, 1976, in Temple to Alice Harris. He was raised and educated in Belton. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Christopher Powers of Belton; two brothers, Reggie Powers of Temple and Albert Harris of Belton; six sisters, Myrtle Hester, Jennifer Powers, Alyson Powers, Gwen Cozart, Angie Harris and Mable Powers, all of Belton.
Family hour will be 6-7 p.m. Sunday at Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple.
