Burial will follow in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mrs. Woods died Thursday, Oct. 9, in a Copperas Cove nursing home.
She was born Nov. 20, 1948, to Malachai Doby and Gladys Baysden Doby in Atkinson, N.C. She married Calvin Woods on Jan. 18, 1969, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Killeen.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years of Killeen; a son, Calvin Woods Jr. of New York; three daughters, Anjunita Woods-Fletcher of Harker Heights, Ladonna Jones of McKinney and Falisa Woods of Killeen; four brothers; three sisters; her mother of Atkinson, N.C.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen
