The body will be cremated following the service.
Mrs. Binion died Monday, Oct. 6, in Ruidoso, N.M.
She was born Nov. 19, 1930, to John and Charlotte Jones in Des Moines, Iowa. She worked as a meter maid in Des Moines and later operated a cleaning business. She married Bill Binion in December of 1978 in Dallas. She moved to Morgan’s Point Resort 20 years ago from Corpus Christi. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years of Morgan’s Point Resort; two sons, Doug Miller of Fairview and Mike Miller of Des Moines; a stepson, Bill Binion Jr. of Vernon; a stepdaughter, Pam Penny of Mesquite; two brothers, Paul Jones of Corpus Christi and Denny Jones of Des Moines; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
