Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with minister Ron Cox officiating.
Burial will follow in Lilac Cemetery near Sharp.
Mr. Yakesch was born March 20, 1941, to Albert F. and Marie Todd Yakesch in Salty. He was a 1959 graduate of Rockdale High School, earning some college credits for the University of Texas in Austin. He married Linda Marie Baxter on June 5, 1965, in Rockdale. He worked as an auto mechanic and later owned and operated L&L Motors. He was a lifetime resident of Rockdale.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years of Rockdale; three sons, Doug Yakesch of Georgetown, Gary Lynn Yakesch of Fort Worth and Russell Yakesch of Gibraltar, Mich.; a sister, Lois Fisher of Rockdale; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
