Mrs. Brown died Saturday, Oct. 18, at her home.
She was born May 28, 1918, to Charlie Stapp and Ruth Whitworth Stapp in Knoxville. She married Auby L. Brown on June 2, 1936, in Lampasas. She had lived in the Lampasas area for 82 years. She was a homemaker. She served as librarian at First Baptist Church for many years. She was a Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include two sons, Charlie Brown of Lampasas and Auby Brown Jr. of College Station; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Community Church in Lampasas or to the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.
