Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Darrell Price officiating.
The body will be cremated.
Mrs. Manning was born Nov. 25, 1950, in Wharton to Donald and Beulah Mae Garlock Jessen. She was a graduate of Sam Houston State University, and was employed as a schoolteacher with the Troy ISD for 23 years prior to retiring.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Barry Lee Manning, on May 23, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Marcus Lee Manning of Troy; and two brothers, Donald Jessen of Temple and Michael Jessen of Seguin.
