Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Roy died Sunday, Oct. 19, in a Temple hospital.
She was born Sept. 24, 1942, in Seminole to Robert Lain and Gracie Lee Stark Jones. She grew up in Seminole and was a 1961 graduate of Seminole High School. She attended Sul Rose University in Alpine, McMurry University in Abilene and the University of Texas in Austin. She married Dennis Terry Roy on March 1, 1963, in Abilene. She moved to the Temple/Belton area in 1967 having also lived in Midland. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Temple where she was active in the Senior Adults Sunday school.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Terry Longoria of College Station and Lisa Winkler of Temple; two brothers, Robert Jones of Alexandria, La., and Lawrence Jones of Lubbock; a sister, Mary Ellen Davis of Seminole; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 1402 W. Ave. A, Temple, 76504.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
