Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Steve Woodrow officiating.
Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Brinkmann was born March 20, 1940, in Deanville to Oscar Brinkmann and Annie Lee Mynar Brinkmann. He married Elaine Ranly on Nov. 26. 1961. He lived in Temple most of his life and attended Temple High School. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for the post office in Temple, from which he retired.
Survivors include his wife of Temple; three daughters, Melissa Guhlin of Temple, Melinda Bulls of Temple and Meshell Woodrow of Aspen, Colo.; his mother of Moffat; four brothers, William Brinkmann of Deanville, Ernest Brinkmann of Lanesville, Johnny Brinkmann of Moffat and Andrew Brinkmann of Eddy; and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Scott & White Cancer Research.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
