Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Robertson Avenue Baptist Church in Copperas Cove with the Rev. Jody Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in Copperas Cove City Cemetery.
Mr. Allen was born March 21, 1920, to Morgan Allen and Becky Whitmire Allen in Coryell County. He served in the Army Air Force in World War II. He worked as a real estate developer and builder for many years. He developed more than 14 subdivisions in the local area. He served as a Board Member for the Copperas Cove Hospital Authority/Metroplex Hospital Authority and on the Board of Directors for Metroplex Hospital until the late 1990’s. He was a member of the Copperas Cove Industrial Foundation, the Copperas Cove Lions Club, the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce, the Central Texas HomeBuilders Association, the AUSA, the Board of Directors at Cove State Bank and for Aztec Savings and Loan. He received numerous awards for his dedication to the people of Copperas Cove to include the Community Builder Award from Masonic Lodge No. 595 in Copperas Cove. He was a longtime member of Robertson Avenue Baptist Church in Copperas Cove. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Allen in 1995 and a grandson in 1979.
Survivors include three daughters, Floy Karen Allen von Seutter of Dallas, Dianne Berry Bowen and Judy Bowen Clark, both of Copperas Cove; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.
