Mr. Johnson died Thursday, Oct. 23, in a Temple hospital.
He was born Oct. 30, 1938, to Bubba Johnson and Ruby Atkinson in Falls County. He was raised and educated in Mayfield by Robert and Ruby Atkinson. He was a professional truck driver.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruby Mae Johnson; two brothers, Authur Atkinson and Lyndon Atkinson, both of Temple; and two sisters, Doris Atkinson of Temple and Alice Stockston of Killeen.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Monday at Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple.
