Burial will be in Hope Lutheran Memorial Park.
Mr. Fischer died Sunday, Oct. 26, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 3, 1942, in Milam County to Adolph and Alma Emma Fuchs Fischer. He married Sandra “Sandie” Brown on Dec. 13, 1986. He was a member of SPJST Lodge No. 15, serving as vice president; a member of the Buckholts Betterment Association; and a member of Hope Lutheran Church, serving on the church council.
Survivors include his wife; two stepsons, Roger Bertling of Houston and Scott Brandon of Buckholts; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
