Josef Eller

BELTON — Services for Josef “JoJo” Eller, 73, of Belton will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Heartfield Funeral Home with the Rev. Jay Thomas officiating.

Mr. Eller died Friday, Oct. 24, at a local hospital.

He was born March 25, 1935, in Csibrak, Hungary, to Anton and Anna Schnidt Eller. He came to the United States on Dec. 22, 1951. He married Mary Fett on July 11, 1959, and she preceded him in death on May 9, 2001. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1960 and served in the 11th Airborne as a paratrooper mechanic. He was discharged on Aug. 31, 1962. He owned his own business as a stone and brick mason. He also owned and operated Cue Sticks by JoJo Blue.

Survivors include two sons, Tim Eller of Temple and Roy Eller of Kaufman; two brothers, Anton Eller and Frank Eller; a sister, Anna Eller; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the funeral home.
