Mr. Wilson died Friday, Oct. 24, in a Temple hospital.
He was born Dec. 20, 1925, to Tully R. and Mabel Brown Wilson in Fayetteville, Ark. He married Pearl Hanson in 1951. He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran and received the Purple Heart for injuries sustained in the Battle of Iwo Jima. He worked for Sedco oil company for more than 40 years.
Survivors include two sons, John Wilson of McQueeny and Billy M. Wilson of Seguin; a daughter, Debra Boty of Richmond; a sister, Melba, of Heidenheimer; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
