Mrs. Sims died Monday, Oct. 27 in a Killeen hospital.
She was born on March 29, 1936, to John Wesley Farmer and Bessie Reese in Killeen.
Mrs. Sims was a member of the First Baptist Church of Trimmier and was active in children’s ministry. She was a member of the Jaycettes, the Pioneer Club and served as a Cub Scout leader.
She is survived by her husband, Sid Sims; two sons, Scott Sims of Ramstein, Germany and Greg Sims of Abilene, a brother, O.D. Farmer of Houston, a sister, Elsie Parr of Capitan, N.M., and two grandchildren.
