Mrs. Morris died Monday, Oct. 27, in a Temple nursing home.
She was born May 16, 1919, to John Andrew and Etta Melissa McPeak Powell in Galesburg, Kan. She married Tom Morris Jr. in Temple in 1961. She lived in Central Texas since 1955. She worked as a bank teller for many years, first at Temple National Bank and later for First State bank in Salado. She was a member of the Temple Bowling Association.
Survivors include a son, Jerry T. Donica of Morgan’s Point Resort; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church Building Fund in Belton.
