Mr. Whitman died Wednesday, Oct. 29, at his home.
He was born Oct. 9, 1957, to Edward L. and Dollie Holmes Whitman in Pendleton, Ore. He was raised and educated in McGrew, Neb., and was a former resident of Omaha. He had lived in the Temple area for the past year.
Survivors include a son, Rocky Whitman Jr. of Temple; a daughter, Barina Whitman of Temple; five brothers, Chuck Whitman of Padroni, Colo., Brad Whitman of Omaha, Neb., Stan Whitman of Temple; Troy Whitman of Belton and Danny Whitman of Peetz, Colo.; a sister, Tammy Kaulback of Wellington, Colo.; and his parents of Temple.
Scanio-Harper Funeral Home of Temple is in charge of arrangements.
