Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Rockdale.
Mr. Juarez died Friday, Oct. 31, in a Temple hospital.
He was born March 23, 1924, to Dario Juarez and Felicitas Lumbreras Juarez in Rockdale. He was a long-time resident of Rockdale. He worked as an appliance repairman at Perry Hardware until 1972, when he became self-employed. He married Julia Flores Juarez on Jan. 6, 1952, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale. He was a decorated U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Southeast Asia. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years of Rockdale; three sons, Henry Juarez, Frank Dario Juarez and Domingo Juarez Jr., all of Rockdale; five daughters, Anna Maldonado, Susan Montelongo, Julie Cortez and Lisa Flores, all of Rockdale, and Kathy Mack of Temple; two sisters, Emilia Castillo of Abilene and Esther Garza of San Antonio; 29 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Monday, with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m., at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
