Mrs. Rangel died Saturday, Nov. 1, in a local nursing home.
She was born March 26, 1917, to Pedro and Romana Alvarado Esquivel in Bastrop. She married Juan Rangel in Cameron in 1935. She was a housewife. She was a member of The Upper Room Bible Study Center in Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Rudy Rangel; and two grandsons.
Survivors include two sons, Conrado E. Rangel and Rudy E. Rangel, both of Temple; a daughter, Amelia R. Garcia of Dallas; 17 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.
Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
