LEVELLAND - The Temple College Lady Leopards dropped their first game of the season, losing 75-62 to host school South Plains College at the Rotary Breakfast Tournament on Sunday.

Brittany Roberson had 13 points, Mareta Bailey had 12 points and seven rebounds and Harker Heights product Shaquitta Martin added eight points and four assists.

“We just didn’t shoot the ball well and some of that had to do with South Plains’ defense,” said TC coach Kim Sebek, whose team trailed 38-30 at halftime. “We never got into the flow of the game and they were pretty dominant on the inside.”

The Lady Leopards (2-1) host Blinn at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
