Burial will be 2 p.m. in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
Mr. Buck died Saturday, Nov. 1.
He was born Oct. 23, 1961, in Parma, Ohio, to Raymond L. Buck and Juanita Buck Butler. He grew up in the Kansas City area and lived in Austin, El Paso and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, before moving to Temple five years ago. He was a graduate of Olathe High School in Olathe, Kan., and attended Stephen F. Austin State University and also Temple College. During his career, he worked in the family’s business, ran his own restaurants through the Texas Commission for the Blind and most recently helped numerous small businesses as a Web site designer. He was a member of Temple and Waco Duplicate Bridge Clubs. He also was an active member of the National Federation of the Blind.
Survivors include his mother of Temple; a stepfather, Roy Butler of Temple; a brother, Timothy Buck of Lexington; and two sisters, Janet Schaffer of Woodway and Elizabeth Cueva of Georgetown.
The family requests that donations be made to the National Federation of the Blind of Texas, 314 E. Highland Mall Blvd., Suite 253, Austin, 78752.
