Mr. Farmer died Monday, Nov. 3, in an Orange hospital.
He was born June 2, 1945, in Springdale, Ark. to George Farmer and May Ratliff Farmer. He lived in the Wilson Community for 20 years. He was a truck driver having worked for C.O. Bruce and son; Joe Goodrum, Gerald Little and Ashcraft Trucking. He married Angelia Marshall July 31, 1992. He was a member of the Bull Hauler’s Reunion.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Patricia Farmer and Melissa Farmer, both of Temple, Shelia Hill and Katie Ashcraft, both of Rogers, and Betty Rodgers of Alvin; two sisters, Pat Briggs of Paradise and Elaine Groves of Morgan’s Point; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
