Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday in Greathouse Cemetery.
Mrs. Beck was born Oct. 24, 1933, to George Burnett and Harriett Immotichey Burnett in Ada, Okla. She married Otis Beck on June 24, 1967. She moved to Little River-Academy 37 years ago from Temple. She was a member of SPJST Lodge No. 177, and Bell County Sportsman Club, where she was the editor of the newsletter. She was preceded in death by a son, Keith Barnes.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years of Little River-Academy; four sons, George Barnes of New Mexico, R.B. Barnes of Temple, Gary Barnes of Lewisville and Kevin Beck of Little River-Academy; two stepsons, Rick Beck of Moffat and Terrell Beck of Morgan’s Point Resort; two stepdaughters, Deborah Blevins and Shelly Fowler, both of Morgan’s Point Resort; nine grandchildren; 12 stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-granddaughter.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
