Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Temple.
Mr. Gilmore died Saturday, Nov. 8, in a Temple hospital.
He was born Oct. 28, 1964, to Henry and Gurtha Byers in Schwertner. He was raised and educated in Bartlett and Temple. He was a local businessman who owned and founded Fat Daddy’s Restaurant. He attended church at the Bibleway Family Worship Center in Marlin.
Survivors include his four sons, Darrius Green of Pine Buff, Ark., Dominique Gilmore, Terrence Gilmore, Kevin Gilmore, all of Temple; four daughters, Terrica Gilmore, Teranishia Gilmore, Dineshia Harris, Kynatta Bullard, all of Temple; three brothers, Paul C. King, Henry Gilmore, Albert Gilmore, all of Temple; three sisters, Syvinya Miller, Pamela Outland, Lori Gleen, all of Temple; his parents of Temple; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Family hour will be 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
