Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with the Rev. George Lumpkin officiating.
The body will be cremated and her ashes buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas at a later date.
Mrs. Jackson was born June 9, 1915, to Alvin Cicero Bagby and Virginia McAdams Bagby in Blanco. She married James Word Jackson on Nov. 25, 1933, in Lampasas. She was a hairdresser, had worked at Producer’s Produce and had co-owned Jackson’s Restaurant in Lampasas. She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Lampasas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years in 1971.
Survivors include a son, Larry Jackson of Houston; a daughter, Linda Wykes of Lampasas; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Lampasas Senior Center.
