ROCKDALE — Services for Sadie Mae Ashley Colton, 95, of Carefree, Ariz., formerly of Gause, will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Milano with the Rev. Dave Lucus officiating.

Burial will follow in Milano Cemetery.

Mrs. Colton died Saturday, Nov. 8, in an Arizona hospital.

She was born May 21, 1913, to Margaret Elizabeth Raven and William Henry Spraggins in Gause. She married Thomas Morgan “Bozo” Ashley in 1930. She worked as a clothing store clerk. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1956; a daughter, Norma Wanell Ashley in 1936; and two grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Sarah Smithey Link of Carefree, Ariz.; a brother, Phil Spraggins of Canyon Lake; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Southern Baptist Church, 3100 W. Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ 85017, Attention: pastor’s Discretionary Fund.
