ROSEBUD — Services for J.E. Patton, 95, of Lott will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud with the Rev. Bill Perdue officiating.

Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud.

Mr. Patton died Thursday, Nov. 13, in a Marlin nursing home.

He was born Nov. 23, 1912, to James and Ollie Thompson Patton in Clarkson. He married Margaret Neal on Feb. 9, 1936. He was farmer and a member of First Baptist Church in Lott. He was a life-long resident of the Rosebud-Lott area. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years on Dec. 29, 1977; and a daughter, Shirley Braswell.

Survivors include a daughter, Iris Marie Fleming of Waco; and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Lott.

Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
