The body will be cremated.
Mrs. Stevenson died Saturday, Nov. 8, in a Temple hospital.
She was born Sept. 12, 1928, to Beatrice Yarber in Caldwell. She studied with the Jehovah’s Witnesses for several years. She married Leslie Stevenson on March 6, 1956. She adopted and raised all eight of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; and a daughter.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Hill, George Luster Jr. and Gregory Luster Jr., all of Temple; five daughters, Debbie Newton of Anchorage, Alaska, Rita Jacobs of Charlotte, N.C., and Jaqueline Taplin, Arliss Williams and Rosaline Washington, all of Temple; a sister, Maggie Yarber of Killeen; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
