Mr. Boyd died Sunday, Nov. 16, at his home.
He was born Jan. 5, 1929, in Port Lavaca to Granville Blake and Alice Blanche Braden Boyd. He was a paint salesman for 39 years for various companies, the last 12 years for Montalbano Lumber in Houston, before retiring in 1995. He married Mary Jane Summers on Nov. 16, 1956, in Houston. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard, 1948 to 1956, and was a member of the 36th Division Association.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Timothy Michael Boyd of Houston and Paul Andrew Boyd of Tomball; a daughter, Susan Wallis of Brenham; and a granddaughter.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
