Laura Eitel and Cheri Giles of Taylor, Gauntt and Guess PLLC take Pickles for a lunchtime walk at the Santa Fe Depot on a warm, sunny Monday. Pickles joined the office about two weeks ago when Giles received the puppy from a friend in Pflugerville. Pickles was one of several dogs removed from an abusive home. “The clients love her,” Giles said. Petting Pickles seems to relieve some stress and anxiety for clients who come into the office to discuss legal issues. Temperatures today will once again climb into the high 60s, which is average for this time of year. The record high on this day was 86 degrees in 1938. The record low was 22 degrees in 1903.
