Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple.
Mr. Worley was born Dec. 24, 1928, to Willie Glascoe Worley and Lottie Mae Capps Worley in Bailey County near the town of Sudan. He was raised and educated in Floyd, N.M., where he graduated from high school. He married Billie Galloway on Sept. 4, 1949. He graduated from Howard Payne University earning a bachelor’s degree. He then went on and graduated from Southwestern Baptist Seminary and received a master’s degree from Eastern New Mexico University. He served as a Baptist minister in New Mexico and Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years in 1992.
Survivors include three sons, David Worley of Conway, Ark., Stephen Worley of Jenks, Okla., and Daryl Worley of Waco; a daughter, Sheryl Young of Harker Heights; two brothers, A.T. Worley of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Robert Worley Sr., of Bowie; a sister, Freda Smith of Fresno, Calif.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
