Mrs. Nielsen died Wednesday, Nov. 19, in a Temple hospital.
She was born March 15, 1913, to Felix and Myrtle Moreland Heisch in Granger. Prior to retiring, she was a secretary for the city of Dallas. She moved to Temple in 1972. She married Harry Benjamin Nielsen Sr., on Aug. 19, 1978, in Temple. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James M. Howe, on Dec. 27, 1972, and her second husband, Harry Nielsen, on July 8, 2008.
Survivors include a stepson, Harry B. Nielsen Jr. of Temple; a stepdaughter, Nancy Nielsen Abshier of Temple; and two grandchildren.
