Private services for Renate “Nati” Doughty, 82, of Copperas Cove, formerly of Temple, will be at a later date.

The body will be cremated.

Mrs. Doughty died Wednesday, Nov. 19, in a Killeen hospital.

She was born Dec. 13, 1925, to Stefan and Therese Marie Ocklenburg Lenort in Essen, Germany. She married Orland Price Doughty. Prior to retiring, she was a secretary with Temple Junior College. She was a resident of Temple for 29 years before moving to Copperas Cove. She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 11, 1998.

Survivors include a son, Stefan Doughty of Copperas Cove; a daughter, Holly Sanders of Belton; two sisters, Ruth Sytwalla of Germany and Susy Sullivan of Florida; and a grandson.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
