She died Friday, Nov. 21, in a Temple hospital.
Mrs. Love was born Oct. 15, 1948, to Manuel Pestrello and Theresa Kaainoa Pestrello in Honolulu. She moved to Temple 25 years ago. She worked security with the E.R. Carpenter Company, having been the first female security guard at that location. She also had worked for 7-11, Action World Bowl Center, and was a dispatcher and secretary for the Belton Police Department. She was a member of AARP.
Survivors include two sons, Charles E. Berry Jr. of Morgan’s Point Resort and Carl Love of Moffat; two daughters, Theresa-Jean Henderson of Bruceville and Lesley Sharp of Lamar, Ark.; three brothers, Edward Pestrello of Honolulu, Alex Pestrello of Arizona and Richard Pestrello of California; a sister, Gloria Garcia of Temple; and 11 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
